Urgent tenders

New Zealand businesses have a new way of selling their goods and services at the last minute - by calling urgent tenders of unsold goods or services, here on Tenderit.

In addition to its standard on-line tendering system, Tenderit lets goods and services buyers get the best value for their money by inviting competitive, one-day-duration tenders.

Urgent Tenders may, for example, cause a truck company with a vehicle sitting empty in Auckland to call a fast tender so it can return to Wellington or even to its South Island base with a full load. A food importer may have over-ordered perishable food and can call an Urgent Tender to retrieve some value before the food spoils.

The latest Urgent Tenders will be broadcast into subscribers' email accounts daily. This offers sellers an alternative should a sale fall through.
